Our brothers competed in a eating contest with Delta Phi Epsilon for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This foundation works from every angle in order to make the lives of all those with this unfortunate illness better.
The Competition had multiple rounds with the top participants moving onto the next round. The rounds were as follows:
Round 1- Sweet Tea chug
Round 2- Pancake eating
Round 3- Hot Dog eating
Round 4- Pizza Eating
Championship Round- “Dopewich” Ice Cream Donut eating
With the help of our lovely coaches we placed second in this competition! We would like to thank them for all the fun they provided us at such a worthy cause of an event and we look forward to getting first place next year!
The gentlemen of TKE put on their cleats and with the motivation of their lovely coaches participated in Pi Beta Phi’s annual philanthropy Down N’ Dirty. This flag football tournament was located on Flavet field and involved many fraternities in IFC. The brothers enjoyed playing football, attending a BBQ, and the company of their coaches throughout the event. The brothers who did not play, cheered on the TKE team alongside our coaches.
We would like to thank our wonderful coaches from Pi Beta Phi for the fun they provided the Gamma Theta chapter as a whole. We look forward to participating in more service projects with them in the future.

Fraters from the Gamma Theta chapter met up for an annual Leadership Conference for the South East region in Atlanta. At this conference, the brothers worked on recruitment, internal operations, and overall techniques to improve the chapter as a whole. When the Brothers were not in workshops they got a chance to meet TKEs from all around the South East region. This trip allowed the Fraters to better serve the Tau Kappa Epsilon goal, better men for a better world.
The brothers of Tau Kappa Epsilon invite you to learn about the Gamma Theta chapter and how we believe in “better men for a better world”. Anyone interested is welcome to attend any of our events:

The brothers of Tau Kappa Epsilon took their time to clean fishing rods for Fishing For Success. Fishing For Success does not have the proper funding in order to have new fishing poles or repair broken ones. Because of this, TKE cleaned, restrung, and setup old fishing rods to better condition. This program is run through the Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences. We would like to thank Dr. Charles E. Cichra for the opportunity to let TKE help out such a great organization. Dr. Cichra and his organization were nothing but helpful as they provided us with this wonderful opportunity to give back to the UF community. The brothers not only helped clean dirty fishing rods, but they had a fun time doing so. We look forward to working with Fishing For Success in the future.
Brothers are hard at work as they clean and restring fishing poles.
