After years of dedication to scholarship and TKE the following seniors graduated from the University of Florida: Griffin Hahn, Brice Husselbaugh, Paul Kaplan, Michael McDonald, and Andrew Stepp. These men embodied the principles of Tau Kappa Epsilon and helped make the fraternity what it is today. They will be missed as students and appreciated as alumni. Good luck, gentlemen!
Chi Omega’s Sandblast!
This past Sunday the gentlemen of Tau Kappa Epsilon competed in Chi Omega’s philanthropy, Sandblast. The sand volleyball tournament held at Southwest Rec last all day and many left with little more than a sunburn. However, both of the TKE teams won their respective first rounds and one team continued to the semifinals. Congratulations to our teams who played well and helped raise money for the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
Red Carnation Ball 2011
RCB defines the spring semester for many of our brothers, and this year’s formal at Daytona Beach was phenomenal. Through spending a few days on the beach, going out and experiencing the nightlife of Daytona, and/or commandeering an entire hotel floor to socialize, we created a truly unforgettable weekend for our brothers and their dates. At the banquet, Andrew Rubin received the Past Prytanis award, Paul Stevens was chosen as athlete of the year, and current Prytanis Christiian Simpson was honored as Frater of the year.
Our Lovely New Sweetheart
Congratulations to our newest sweetheart Lindi Beaman of Chi Omega! She was crowned at this year’s Red Carnation Ball. Our chapter is extremely proud to be represented by this lovely lady!
