Last week our members participated in a service project at Lake Forest Elementary School. We spent several hours playing dodgeball, kickball, and basketball with underprivileged children. Both the kids and the brothers had a great time, and we will be sure to go back soon.

Congratulations to Frater Frank Plageman. Frank won his election in the senate for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Frank wants to create a waiting list for classes on ISIS, improve the carbon footprint on campus, and stop block tuition. He will be serving until the end of next fall.

Alpha Chi’s Great Escape was a blast. Our guys placed first place for spirit and we all had a great time. Great Escape raises funds for the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation, an organization which helps combat domestic abuse and violence throughout the nation.

Our newest members were initiated yesterday. Gavel pass had the usual highlights from Kyle Evers, and everyone had a great time. The new members are already taking leadership roles in the fraternity and will go on to do great things.
